I'm 17 in two weeks and over the last year or so I have got really into 'coming of age' films. It's funny how you can watch a film like this a million times but then one day actually get it. Kinda like a kids tv show having 'adult' jokes in them. You only really understand once you reach a certain age.

Growing up scares me. I like being young. I want to hold onto my youth for as long as possible because you really don't have it for that long. And I love how you can hold such strong friendships even if you have all gone your separate ways. Like those friends you never see, but when you're together it's like they have never been away.

Being a teenager and growing up is emotional. Which is oh so slightly hilarious. Sometimes you want it to end. And sometimes you want it to last forever.

looking after two kittens for the rspca. one black boy and a black and white girl. SO CUTE. will probably have them for two weeks or so then collect another litter. its my new summer project. TAMING FERAL AND STRAY KITTENS. love love love. oh and you could probably adopt them if you live in london. call up the rspca and ask. it's kitten season and there are millions needing homes!!

went to see my grandaddy. wish i saw family more. it's sad. he lives at the seaside the seaside is nice. then on the way home we stopped in norwich and i got some crochet doilies and collar. got six different ones. YESS. about time she says. been looking for the right ones for the right price forever. can't wait to do something with then now. EXCITEMENT!!!

found a cassette playa t-shirt in some shop on berwick street today. for ONLY £3. oh so happy with this purchase. love the kinda 'chavy', england shirt ness of it. love loVE LOVE. thanks to petra making me go t-shirt shopping with her. otherwise there would be no shirt for gertrude.

bought a lampshade by annette bugansky, at the cockpit arts open house. so imagine the cup above but like upside down and a lampshade. i think it's awesome!! like made out of porciline and looks like its been knitted. all hand made. COOL.

ha american apparel. how do you feel. i can make a skirt pretty much identical to yours. and guess what. it didn't cost me £32. it was FREEEE. turned an ugly dress into a skirt and a top. ooo and i got new shoes. ma mamma's friend gave them to her (me). A NOM. A NOM. A NOM.

kay so basically all my family members are getting angry with my amount of clothings. literally overflowing. so i think i might just sell the stuff i don't love a dearly as my other clothes. although that will probably just lead to buying even more clothes. it's fun actually having time to do these kinds of thungs. not only have i actually been OUT, i've also had time to make all these wearables, read half a book, watch like 21094481924 films, watch daytime tv (nom), bake multiple cakes, spend hours roaming ebay, just like do nothing and so so so much more (all since friday) WOW. i think i could get used to this kind life. doing MY KIND of work. wow wow wowow wow.

end of exams..

ma mummy got me a peter rabbit jelly mould for an end of exams present. ah fanks mum. seriously best thing ever (this isn't sarcasm, i am seriously excited by it. like really really excited).

and i bought lychee jelly today. BET YOU'RE JELL!!

NOM NOM NOM.the best thing about having literally no more exams/commitments/work/due dates ect ect.. meannss I AM FREE. and i can now start on all my silly projects. and cook mochi. and make peter rabbit jelly. and read all my 'put to the side magazines'. and start reading some REAL books. and draw. and go out out. and make clothes. and SMILE. and laugh. and be awesome again. or not. but that's fine. at least i can now be MYSELF.
