been away in greece for three weeks

been away for almost a month and it's pretty strange being back. but nice to see the cats. *smile* there are probably holiday pictures somewhere buuut they can come later if i feel like it. i thought it would be more fun to show off two pairs of shoes i got while i was there. 20 euros for both the pairs. i does love them. people i was sailing with got them for my 18th from a little old shoe shop in the most random town where clearly they were still selling the shoe stock from twenty years ago. it was pretty sweet! went sailing around the greek islands with some friends in their boat. sailing is stressful there is never a dull moment!!! pah. if only you could relate.

 it was so hot. too hot. but fun.

being on a boat you are never far from the sea! this makes the heat acceptable.

exhibition was interesting but that was about it.. not many thoughts about it after i left. picked myself up by getting hot&cool magazine from the bookshop. £4.55 with a tate card WHOOP.

part of a final piece. not how it was supposed to be. everything went wrong in the making. base and shade should have been glazed ceramic. but such is life. kilns suck and are so unpredictable. but end result could have been A LOT WORSE. so i am happy.what's with all all these short sentences? i'm tired.

it has been a long long time

WOW A LOT HAS CHANGED ON BLOGGER. bleh not cool. i don't know how to navigate anymore. djsfkdjsahfjanfsjd. this is what happens when i you're not on the internet for like ten billion years. and often it only has to be a few seconds. sucks.

my computer broke. then i had like tons of work. and now i have even more work. whoop. so no time for anything at the moment. ALL MY ART IS DUE IN NEXT WEEK. stressy times. only thing to make me smile. my cats. shows how long i've been away. they're 7 weeks now and I haven't been on since before they were born. dah. CRAZY.

I'll now be away for another 30 years. YAY. kay bai.

also also.. this post sucks cus i have nothing to say.

away three days

got given four issues of I-D from the 90s. pretty sure i have seen some of these pictures in more recent issues.. hmmm. *scratches head* they make me happy. photos used to be a lot more 'real' now they're always way too 'fashion-ie'. too perfect. these are cool.

and then i got some clothes.

all of which i got on the way to my interview at the mackintosh in glasgow. it was fun. and got some videos too (of course). from this really awesome giant vintagey/charity shoppy/canada thriftstorey place. so cool.

now all i need to do is catch up on 6 weeks of work. YAY ME.
